The Returner II
I find I am
Returning to the land of
The living and
Listening to Clyde 1
And watching the
Six Nations and
Following the progression
Of the Tate Modern.
I find I am a
Woman of my time, my
History replete and
Brimming in my eyes.
The land of sighs is
Past and gone, and I have
Said goodbye to loved ones
Whose loss I held close
To me with pain - in vain
In vain, and so I
Find I am
Returning to a living
Being with all my
Mind intact and
Thinking of the women
I have been the things
done the people
known, and my
Lips are smiling things
Now, quietly curved
And pouting.
