The Joker

The Joker spoke
loud in the King's ear and
rattled his bells
grinning and
capering he
left the throne and
roamed the room - courtiers
backed away as
he came near, his
brazen diamonds
harlequin in his
manic-minded
grin. The
King liked him and
kept him like
a monkey in a
cage - poor fool -
poor fool in
suffering him.
