Still Life II

Straight lines and stocky symmetry
stand
at the bar -
knee bent
hip slant
back beautiful -
on demand
presses a hand
into denirn,
pulls-out
change
for the round
and, turning
clasping glass
glances over
smiles
and comes back
to sit
in the seat
next to me.
