Obsession
I am obsessed, possessed
Infatuated by dark
Purple glints, red
Gleamings in warm brown eyes
Roughness of skin and the
Baggy character of the
Clothes you wear disguising
A square frame, a strong
Maleness I can never gain.
1 am obsessed by you
Living on lacking me - I want
Your smile, your hand, your company.
How I am demeaned
To come to this, so
Lean of soul my selves
Smoulder and dissolve
All because of a
Slim blackhaired beauty
Of a boy like you.
How spare I am
How large a hole you
Made in me, I am a
Tree laden with unwanted fruit -
I stand rotting in the sun.
