Eden postage

Ah! Good day! I cut the
turf and threw it away -
curtailed the grass spread.
I planted a colourful row
of spring plants; began
mulching the beds. He replaced
the rotten fence struts; our
neighbour was creating a
wild flower meadow. The sun
went behind the cottage roof
and the air chilled my hands.
Oh! It was cold. I was
glad to have a good job done.
Glad to come in and
get the fire on, so I could thaw.

I loved my bright buckets,
good tools, our compost
friable and dark. The Good
Life was with us today
my tiny Eden park.
