diamonds
log on the fire crackles with
life; jazz on the TV with
Gregory and all my advent
candles are about to make
a puddle in the dish; and
all the screen is blue
and gold, and my own little
ceramic tree with the multi-
coloured lights are on
sitting on the settee with my
beloved and how
well things are at this
year end - nothing
is frozen over out there,
nothing is white -
but I do wear my
beautiful diamonds at
ear throat and wrist -
Christmas is a kiss
despite all those I miss
