diamond-bright

a diamond day - one of
glitter and depth
where the heart sang free
and all fell away
leaving me light
and strong

clear blue eyes
and in our hands
a song

diamond-night
at night, no sleep
but the silence carries
with it the gentle
humming of a bright
hope etched in bone

the gentle glitter
keeps with it
our breath: we are
one light
